Description
The Half Moon Bay ferry service has been operating out of the harbor for many years. The ferry service owns four ships that sail out of two docks in the harbor. It offers ferry rides to other cities along the coast, mainly San Francisco. Business slowed over the years, causing the ferry service to become mainly a tourist attraction. The ferry boats are small compared to the naval and cargo ships that frequent the port, but they still require a small crew to operate, providing some jobs for Half Moon Bay.

However, in only the past few months, the ferry service has come under new management. The new owner's are pushing to branch into affordable service for commuters to other coastal cities. They've employed skilled rune-carvers from the town to modify the older ferries to achieve incredible speeds. Still, the commuting service has yet to become widely used, so the company is now trying to cut operating costs to offer a more affordable service.
